Half marathon improvement in 7 weeks
I'm looking to run a half marathon in 7 weeks.
I'm running (or at least planning to run) about 40 miles a week. Currently I would guess my half marathon time would be about 1:50, maybe a couple of minutes quicker.
What sort of improvement do you think I could expect to get over 7 weeks with that amount of training?
What's you current training load? I'm guessing with a 1.50 time a lot less than 40 miles per week? If 40 miles a week is a huge jump you are more likely to be getting ill/injured than setting PB's.
