Jude-I have a bout 300 pieces on my Ipod- I probably know most of the well known stuff. Think I prefer piano pieces as well as clarinet pieces + Beethoven & Tchaikovsky the most.

Jude-that is a good song. I lile quite a lot of Elton John's work.Here's a piece I like that you may not know- It is by a compsoer called Zipoli and is Elevanzioni for the Oboie. Check it out on i tunes. Beautiful piece. Also like overtures such as the Thieving Magpie and the Light Cavalry overture.

had a great run today on the Northdowns course with Rocker, arrived 8am, grey and misty but was already clearing to blue skies. ran out towards the boxhill point-was very muddy on the trail, when i did NDW was bone dry and parched. reached the stepping stones and they were submerged!! Noooooooooooooooo!! there was a man canoeing across them!!..so we turned round and headed back which was  steeper running back than going out, sun out by now and warm!   passed by Denbies vvineyards,distance on getting back to the car was just over 26miles...if we had managed to get across stepping stones and up boxhill it would have made 30miles.....but a beautiful day out and brilliant training run

loula - sounds like a great day. My 10k course was lovely, through a National Trust park, no goody bag, but a medal and a few hi5 gels. bit tired now! and have to get up early to get my long run in before we have to go to the inlaws. All this training would be so much easier to fit in without a life to fit it round! Ah well, hopefully I'll get some time to sit and chill at the inlaws

My Big Girl and I did parkrun this morning. Then because it was a rare time out with just the two of us, we went to McD for sausage,egg McMuffins

But I'm not feeling very well. Splitting headache, very tired and a bit achy. So the long run didn't happen. I guess that my taper has begun after all.

Hi anyone I have missed. I am hoping to do my 20 miles tomorrow. I have decided to do a 5 miles course 4 times as its hilly and hopefully will help me to do a nice flat run on the day.

Well its just afternoon but I have lost track of the time today. I am really happy to have managed 18.54 miles on a course with a few hills. I just have to say my Hubbs has be fab today too.He took little Ecky to Church this morning and then he had to go Netball with Middle Ecky so that I could just bog off and do my own thing.
