The Cake Runners Athletics Club :-)
perezoso - good to have you back. Did you enjoy Costa Rica? I love reading about people's trials and tribulations!
been spinning, had 5 minutes to eat something and make some food for the kids ready for when they get back from swimming and now I am off to a 'welcome to year 7 meeting' - could really do without it as all I really want to do is snuggle up and sleep
Sorry, need to catch up. Busy day booking train tickets for London on Fri and scouring TKMAXX for a cheap dress to wear. Just back from fitness training too which was brilliant. I really feel like I am getting my fitness back.
Hi Perezoso, nice to have you back. I will look forward to reading your diary. I have just started a blog too which I am enjoying writing.
Hi Mathschick, well done on your spinning class.
Hi mathschick and Eckytump! Thanks for the welcome back. Ecky, I'm glad to hear you're feeling fitter.
Well, I've started my training diary. It's here: The Iberian Odyssey
Where's your blog, Ecky? Is it open to the public?
Welcome back Perezoso! I like your diary and think it's a great idea. You write really well. Good luck on your training. (I'd love to hear about your month in Costa Rica too.)
MC - Hope the meeting went well.
Ecky - good luck with the dress hunting.
Hope everyone is good. I'm following the thread but have no running to report..... and no pics of 'pieces' of any kind.
morning Jude!! hows you??
Peresozo, that's a brilliant read. I am looking forward to the next installment. Mine is here http://yorkshirepuddingnearly40.blogspot.co.uk/
Hi Jude, hope you are okay. I managed to get a dress. Its just plain but very business like. Thing is I live in my jeans so never have anything to wear for these things. I managed to get on in the sale bit so it was nice and cheap.
Well running club for me later so a decent 4 miler and thenr maybe a run Sat,then racing on Sun in a local 10k.My first proper race for ages.
Welcome back Peresozo. You were on your honeymoon if I remember? Hope you had a good time. Will read your blog later.
Managed 5.5 miles this morning.
Away to Cambridge for the weekeend with Mrs AF this weekend.
Bye for now...
Great place, Cambridge! Hope you have a great weekend, Mr & Mrs AF. Sorry to say the weather doesn't look like it's going to be too agreeable but at least quaint little Cambridge has a lot of shops and history to enjoy.
its really quiet on here.............and chilly and autumnal outside..........
*wheels in trolley with scones, crumpets, custard doughnuts for matt coz they are his fave, and tea and biccies*...
Got any cheese scones Lou? They're my favourite Preferably toasted and dripping with butter
Bacon. Sausages. Eggs. Big baps. Of the flour/water/yeast kind, before you get excited. Brown sauce. Teabags and kettle.
Nice Baps Mr By Eck *sniggers and runs of to hide before Da boss tell her off*
White baps, Brown baps, Bitty baps, I like them all. Especially with a bit of sauce on them.
Mr By Eck, I just laughed so much I spitted my tea out then.
Lol, Hi By Eck. I must admit I am getting Abo nerves and I feel I have not done enough but as long as we can get to the 20 before they drag us off the course then we will be fine.
