And completed it in 1.06 - very happy. Race for life at Finsbury park, very hilly. Now I need to start training for the great south run in October!

Well done Laura, I'm not at 10k yet but I'm not too far off, I'm also doing the Great South but that will be my first race/event that I've been in since my school days!

Thanks guys!

hows your training going @pompeymatt?

i had a few weeks over the summer holidays where i just couldn't get out for a run, so come sept 3rd when the children went back to school i found it a real struggle getting back into keeping going... but I'm managing 5 miles now quite comfortably but need to start upping the distance now.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement - it helps keep me motivated thats for sure!
