Woo hoo! This thread is still going.

After two weeks of watching people run, jump and cycle, I thought it was about time I get back into running.... I'm pleased to say the Olympics have not only brought me back in contact with the open road but also back to this forum.

I'm sure to have missed out on a lot. Please please can someone update me and accept my apologies for being away so long?

Oh, and in terms of running, unfortunately I'm definitely back to being a beginner, being only able to comfortably run about 3k right now

Hi everyone,

I've been on this site for a while now, and just thought i'd introduce myself.

"HI"

I have completed my first 10k a few weeks ago, and was so driven that I thought i'd enter a half marathon. Please wish me luck.

Hello inocent! It's nice to meet you and well done on completing your first 10K

I've wanted to enter a half mara for ages now, but I keep holding back because by the time I'm running around 8-9k I become acutely aware how difficult it would be to double that distance and chicken out of signing up! So well done for being so driven and the best of luck in your training. What's the half mara you signed up for btw?
