Morning all.

Very sore hip today after yesterday's plodding. Will see how it feels by tonight before running club, otherwise I may not go.

Alternative exercises? How to stretch hip? Somehow, walking doesn't feel like exercise anymore.

Describe a hip flexor, I may have done it in the past.

down on one knee
other knee bent in front of you foot on floor
possibly arms in the air to increase stretch

there are ways to do them by standing with leg on bar behind you if not comfy on knees

stretch is in front of thigh

Morning all.

Up a bit earlier again today to await return of builders.

Likely to be cross-training with housework and budgie-cleaning for the day.

Morning.

Good plod last night and I LOVE my new GPS. It has confirmed two things which I sort-of already knew that my average pace is about 10 min miles and that my "5 mile" route is actually about 4.5 but...it also showed me that at one point I was doing sub-7.30 min miles. I swear it was for about 2 yards, down hill and with a following wind (please don't throw me off plodders, please, please).

Good News: Lovely running club chairman has offered to write me a marathon training programme.

Bad News: He wants me to build up to around 60 miles a week. Sadist.

Love you really DJ :-))

And flr, we didn't express surprise because we know you and TS are brilliant, clever couple who could win anything together.

Please feel free to be sick at any time.
