Hi, I am a proper beginner, all this is very new to me. I am looking at buying some shoes. Mainly for tarmac. I have not got a clue where to start, am I just better off going to Up and Running and let them tell me what I need?

Yes - ask in a running shop. We can't tell what you run like or what shoes will feel comfy for you. Have fun !
