Hi All,
Strange subject for a thread in the beginners forum I know!
Having been a non-runner for years I decided to enter the NYC Marathon recently, giving me 6 months to train from nothing to a marathon. I think I can do it (misplaced optimism? ) I just hope I can steer clear of injuries!
Just wondering if anyone is as crazy as me? 
I don't know any other runners near me and it would be great to link up with others going through the same pain/training for NYC.
