Hi Sarah

sorry only just read your message; forum notifications are not working for me at the moment.

yes there is a hill about 2/3rds round. Shortish and steep. From the bottom of Prospect Park to the big house at the top, through some trees.  I ran it the first year and think I walked it last year! Always Bl88dy hot then!

The downhill makes up for it afterwards.  Good Luck for it, I'll be there as part of the Piggott Chicks team but  won't have an official t-shirt, too fussy about what I wear now, so have a tasteful baby pink Asics vest for the RFL!

3rd year so as ever trying to improve on last year's time.

Hi all, I'm doing the Ferry meadows (peterborough) RFL in july, it'll be my 6th one. This year I want to complete it without stopping though. Last year my (then) 6 year old did it with my (along with my mum, 47 and my nan 65) we finished in 45minutes. My little girl wants to do it again this year so I either do it with her which would be great but couldnt run all the way or she doesnt come with me and I feel bad for holding her back.....they'll be other races for me though wont there so looks like she will be running/walking along with me.

have a great race everyone, its all about the fund raising, raising awareness and soaking up the atmosphere

Hi everyone,

I'm doing the Kempton Park RFL in July along with a friend. We lost a good friend and work colleague to breast cancer last year, so will be remembering her, plus celebrating another two work colleagues' recent All Clears

I followed the BUPA 5K training plan, then moved on to the 10K one, but have just had to have a 4 week break due to a hurtie knee, so need to start building up the times and distances again

Hi everyone,

I ran my first 5k on Sunday at the Chester RFL - it was amazing!!! Have only been training since April but managed to run all the way round in 32mins 57secs - very happy with my time!

Have now got the running bug and will definitely keep it up - may even train for a 10k in September!

Good luck to everyone running the RFL this summer!

Hi all,

I've recently discoverd that I walk approximately three miles three days a week, and it takes me around 90 minutes.
