Feel free to join me!
wicked Grendel! 102 is a pretty big month! Good luck!!
Ladies and Gentlemen of the thread
I am a lapsed runner and a lapsed poster here, I truly need a swift kick up the Jacksie.
I am envious of you all so popping in quickly to say I will do a proper catch up tonight since my last post was a while back. So far this month managed 7.4 miles ...*sigh*
Still would have had a bash at the 34 with B2B though if I wasn't so far away !! Speak later
DS - Hope you little one gets better soon, guess its a bit of indoor training for you today - How's your Plank? oooh that sounds a bit iffy Y/N
Grendel - 102 you can do it - If you did B2B's Birthday run with him that would knock off 34 in one hit
330 - Nice to see you
No running for me today, but might take an Aqua Zumba class tonight if I can be bothered if not then a couple of miles on the cross trainer for me
Oh well the title of the thread is starting again from the beginning 3:30!!!!
6.38 miles for me this morning - dark dark dark, must get that head torch!! Santa Santa Santa!!
YAY ! Turned on the charm with Mrs DS and she has given me 30 mins extra before she goes out. So will be able to get out.
My plank is slightly warped and full of knots MS
Grendel , you do put some good mileage in. It is an inspiration to see stuff like that!
YAY - hope you have a good run DS and hope little DS gets better.
Little man still a bit poorly. Loaded with calpol so should be ok soon. usual sniffles and colds. His nursery is one big petri dish of germs so is to be expected.
Done a good run tonight 3.01 in 29.35.
The sofa monster has been beaten !
330 - Just keep smiling and start training for a marathon
Thats the trouble at nursery age - they pick up all sorts of little bugs etc - my sons 10 now and he seems to brush them off now. Very rarely poorly (touch wood)
Did 6.45 this morning, it was cold with a dusting of ice in places - felt cold but OK - then rather bizaarly the wind picked up in strength and became quite unpleasant - then got a call from the enviroment agency to issue a severe flood warning in Clacton - could be a fun night - might be taking up open water swimming later - Will get the goose grease ready.
Christmas countdown - 94 miles to run
Just signed up for Tunbridge Wells half, as I normally forget about that and remember too late once it's fully booked.
Thinking of doing the Gravesend 10k round the Cyclopark next Thursday to try and push myself for a quicker time. Plus to motivate myself in general to get out during the week in the cold dark of the night.
Grendel hope everything is ok for you in Clacton, I have just seen the news and saw that one of the properties that went over the cliff in Hemsby is the one we were looking at when we were on holiday recently at Caister.....so sad
Lisa sounds like your back in action glad your feeling better.
I had a nice run today, I listened to one of the three podcasts for C25k graduates called Stamina, the other two are Speed and Stepping Stones will give them a try next week. Covered just over 2.5 miles felt really good.
TW is a great race but there is that hill around 8 miles!!!
Done a 2.3 miles in 21.42 on friday at lunchtime.
Had a christmas piss up with lads from work in Norwich on friday night. I am now in day 2 of hangover. Going for a run tonight when Mrs DS returns from work. Hopefully I feel better by then
