Feel free to join me!
Morning everyone, done my run Sunday night, felt like I was running through treacle to be honest after the weekends festivities.
Working half day so I can get out and get the last of christmas presents bought. Then slide in a run before picking up little DS.
Glad you survived the storm Grendel !
just farting around with times and stuff for the thames trot trying to work out a plan. So far I think I have it down as if I can average an 11 minute mile, factor in about an hour in aid stations then I might be able to sneak a sub 10 hour
I try and use friday as a test.
If I have my maths right then an eleven minute mile plus 2 aid stations at 10 minutes each gives me a target time of 6:43, I would be really happy with around 7 so lets see!!
Good luck b2b from my 1st ultra I found a planned 2 minute stop can easily stretch to a lot closer to 10 mins if you don't concentrate, so when you are at the pit stops don't loose focus
Grendel so glad you and your family are ok
DS good to see you getting out
Just got in from a nice 5k with B2B we stayed out of the mud tonight, think he just wanted to keep his sandals clean for Friday seriously though B2B I hope you have a really good time on Friday and just keep us tweeted
