Starting over and starting new

So I think I have decided it, I think I am going to do the Dublin marathon this year!

I've been running on and off for about 18 months but not consistently. I've a good chunk of weight to lose (4 stone to a healthy BMI) so I'm thinking while I might not make it down to 12.5 stone in time for the end of October, I should hopefully be close.

I'm going to follow the Hal Higdon Novice Supreme plan. It's 30 weeks long and I'm 1 week late starting it but the mileage is very low at this point so it shouldn't be a big deal starting on week 2.

Anyone else here doing it?
