I spotted the motivation when he made a detour to show us the rhododendrons in Dulwich Park. We thought he was joking about that too.

Ah, bless his cottons! I love Ollie. But then he's been making me do press ups for near on 3 years, maybe it's addled my brain.

Dr Nic come back I think Snoops got it the wrong way around.....
29/05/2003 at 15:44
No I didn't; it was just a suggestion that the Village people have a thread of their own to discuss Ollie's follies, but they're welcome to stay here.

and it's nice to have the Doc drop in from time to time to say 'hello.' (Nic's an honorary Beckenhamian now, anyway, due to her address).

or even the Events thread?

It may put a few newbies off, but may also give it some greater exposure (is this wise he asks himself?)

Hi Snoops.
The thought of extra exposure from you is not a pretty thought, especially if we're gonna get as low as the toenails.
JJ (remember me?)

I'll nick this one just to stop you getting the next word in.

OK Snoops - on a trial basis we'll migrate to URWFRC for a month - but suspect it'll get buried under a mound of 'what are you having for dinner' threads! At least on Beginners it is usually on the front page.

Here goes ...
