Since when has kangaroo been local to Denmark? Is it like bouncy bacon? And is everyone I know going there (Froggie, Mega- and Miniwomble)? Is there something I don't know?

my adopted daughter and her husband to be are currently in Denmark, on the reasonable grounds that they live there

there was a SY fanily gathering yesterday on the occasion of Lovely Niece's birthday

there was much debate about what Brazilian jokes would be acceptable for the Best Man's speech

Plodders would have been proud of us

I like the sound of having a fanily, I must admit

Been on the phone to my Mum. For 52 minutes. I am now up-to-date on dogs, cats, goldfish, new jobs, birthdays, schools, hospital appointments etc. And that's just for the neighbours.

And my bilberry is now so tired it's flashing at me.

Am I allowed to say "hey fatty"?

No, probably not

I hope you're not suffering too much in the heat.

Boom boom, sweet sugar dumpling.....

I'll get me coat.

Woo hoo! Double figures on the plod mileage for the second week running.  and more importantly, no ill effects (touch wood).

You can say it Mister. W.

I can't guaruntee the reaction that you will get though  or  are most likely

<says it from a distance...... with a box of tissues on hand >

How're you doing?   I'm not going to ask how long as you're probably fed up with people asking.  Is everything ready?  Has Dan decorated the nursery?  Have you bought your first pack of nappies.... and practised by putting one on your teddy?

05/08/2011 at 21:52

Not long at all! Am 37 and a half weeks.........*fear*

Everything is pretty much bag *tick*, nursery *tick*, pram and car seat *tick*, nappies *tick*, antenatal classes *tick*.........I have a few more little things that I want to do before baby comes but nothing that is vital and, really, we are ready but it's been a rush so we are hoping for a few weeks to rest first!!!

Am mostly ok, having some back/pelvis/hip probs but that was fairly predictable so am seeing obstetric fizz on Monday. If he/she can give me more than 2 hours sleep per night then I will have his/her babies too

LOL @ Sam. Have the first one before offering to have more!

I wondered this evening if it is normal to get so wet riding a bicycle...

06/08/2011 at 08:33

Good point Womble

I used to get very wet riding my Minx, I reckon it's pretty normal.

08/08/2011 at 10:04

I was very wet last week on my bike. Shorts were still damp on the way home.

Another Monday but the start of a short week.

Hey Sam

Pink says hang on as long as you can before letting them induce you... well, not you, the baby.  Waiting can be frustrating but you are more likely to get a quick delivery if you hang on as long as you can.

I was going to give you a list of things that you can do to encourage labour but none of them actually work although some of them are quite good fun

11/08/2011 at 20:46

*hangs on*

You mean sex and a curry? Just as well that doesn't work or I'd have given birth a hundred times over
