A dreadful week chez Floose.

My sprightly, very fit and healthy Uncle Harry (my Dad's older brother) fell off a ladder on Saturday and bumped his head. The bump caused massive, inoperable internal bleeding and Uncle H died on Monday morning.

We were close and this is a massive shock. Raffles is taking care of me because I have no idea which way is up.

How long are you away for Yeo?

Am officially due in 4 days, but this baby is showing no signs of going down.

Doesn't take after mum then!

20/08/2011 at 11:54

Sam - they go down when they think they will

Pipettes - I don't want you I don't need you if you think that this ia cruel then you should see what my friends do

Actually bought slippers for Bob and an eyeliner pencil for me - rock and roll

20/08/2011 at 22:11

Can't beat a bit of eyeliner

Just got stuck in the bath. dan dan had to rescue me. Had a fight with a bathmat. It won. I am now officially too large for the bath.

21/08/2011 at 07:58

obviously a small bath

21/08/2011 at 07:58

more of a bathling?

off for a walk with the dog today

21/08/2011 at 21:22

I think the bath is of fairly average size

Unlike this baby.........'it's not a small baby you've got in there' said the consultant

Hmm they said that about Teen B and she was 8lb 13oz (big but not huge) and a hell of a lot of fluid - tbh it's the head that is tricky to deliver and a big baby's head is not materially different than a little baby's head. Teen B was also a very fat baby and I was always told off "fat baby fat child; fat child fat adult" - have you seen her size 8 lovely fit young personness of late?
22/08/2011 at 08:54
Hmm. The current thinking in Radio 4 world is that cause of all the world's ills is under-nourishment in the womb.
22/08/2011 at 10:35

Surely teen B was a heavy baby, not a fat baby?

Sam, the size predicitions are notoriously inaccurate so your little one might not be a big one... although, are you sure you haven't got twins in there?

22/08/2011 at 14:18

no after I had fed her she was a fat baby - like a butterball

we will not laugh we will not laugh we will not laugh ... OWTS has had his car towed and has to go to the pound to get it
