I'm looking for a new job, though I don't want to

my company is proposing to stop paying us for travelling to and between clients, which in my case means a 30% pay cut

shame, I was planning on seeing this one out to retirement

so, if anyone asks what cuts in Social Care budgets mean...

cat sitter anyone?

Budgie sitter??

Excellent idea, Parddu

Meanwhile my company is advertising internally for an 'Activities Co-ordinator' at the new 'Day Opportunities Hub'.

No, I don't know either, but I've expressed an interest

Ah good, I was wondering how it was going

Homer Simpson I like

currently colleagues are looking at the legality of what the firm is proposing, so all's not lost yet

Just heard the one of Minnesota Friend's granddaughters has died with her friend in a car crash. She was due to finish high school in June

That's very sad to hear, Parddu, ones so young.

Yes, it is stressful at work at the mo, no-one knows what's going on

But the concert was a great success, and the audience entered into the spirit of the Last Night of the Prommy bits.  I even saw a Welsh flag being waved

The ghost of Sir Malcolm, our first conductor, would have  been pleased

Parddu how very terrible.

Good news about the concert.

Internal auditing training today - after which presumably I'll be fit to audit you all internally?

Thanks Mike

I see on next week's rota an 'Awareness Session (unpaid)', so I should have some clue what it's about after that.
