sometimes listening is as much fun as watching

or more so - I remember a very funny drive home listening to the Wimbledon final (Stich Becker?) and the female commentator getting very excited about these huge men with their wonderful thighs

at least one of those has burnt down

I think I'll just look out for blackboards outside on my travels

I know there are a couple of big locals that are possibles

I'm glad I know that you're both normal(!), or the above conversation would seem very strange indeed!

Morning all.  Sore calf, but been for long dog walk and now have a whole day off (unheard of in these parts) to spend with Small.

Sorry to hear that your rellies have been in the wars.

Came back from swimming lesson with a wrecked fingernail and a black toe  (I only had my nails done on Tuesday )

On the positive side, I managed to do a length of front crawl

Bobbis just said she didn't know we had gone onto one thread "but there aren't lots of posts like the old days - before we all got fixed up with each other"

Back from w**k - had a busy day and no uncouth youths in the IT suite

Last night I wrecked my nail diving for a plastic ring (never buy your dog's plastic rings from Aldi!! They have ridged edges!) and then getting out of the pool at the end of the lesson I caught my toe on the steps which are built into the pool sides.  It HURT

No point having the nail redone properly - instructor has promised us more diving practice next week so will just patch it with a colour of mine which is fairly similar to the one on the rest of my nails. I'll just look unique

Went shoopping today and bought a tartan ra-ra mini-dress. Only a fiver from Oxfam

What do you mean that's cos no one else would wear it??

20/06/2009 at 19:39

ouch... sounds painful!

I bashed the same toe 3 times the other day - the nail is an interesting shade of green at the moment..

took little womble swimming, got repeatedly grabbed round the neck when he was panicing (in about 2 foot of water (bless)!
