Running is only hard if you make it hard for yourself.
Start running by running for a bit. If it feels hard, walk. When you've got your breath back, throw in a bit more running. Etc. Enjoy it. Don't push yourself.
After a few sessions, you will be surprised at yourself. Gradually you will be walking less, running more, and it will occur to you, "Hey, this is actually fun!"
There wouldn't be so many people on this site if running wasn't fun. So, persevere with it, build up gradually, and find the fun.
This time of year the colours are so beautiful, the ground's getting nice and soft, the squirrels are gathering their nuts, the air tastes so fresh, ... enjoy.
