The man's been to look at me holes They're fine and Mr Spence can fill them up as soon as he gets home

16/05/2012 at 14:10

Bum, thought that was going to be TOTP, damn you Noggin

Sorry Spence, you've lost me.

Good news about the holes though.

I met a woman this morning who thought Toad in the Hole was an illegal kick boxing move.

Holes and Hot flushes don't know what to say Spence.

Back from a silly 12k effort just went out for a brisk walk with my trainers on and after 4k thought I would try a little jog and ended up doing 0.5k run walk intervals for another 8k I am now officially knackered after doing the only sensible thing used my bus pass to get home

Will be doing dinner for one again soon which means I will cook too much and still eat it all so may have to go out again tomorrow and burn off more fat.

When I can't stagger very far and am happy to sit with my slippers on and feet up then I may get an older dog so we both can watch life go by in our own time.

Holey moley, Spence. Give Mr Spence a break and at least let him have his tea first.

Chuggs, a wise choice me thinks regarding the 5k race. Let the competetive ones get on with it and enjoy your barefoot plodding and smelling the flowers as you go.

LOL at plodding then using your bus pass to get home, westie

Snaily, if you get to Devon you'll need a pooch to walk along the prom on a nice summer's evening

Daffy, if that's what hen wekeends are about then I could be infavour of weddings

I shall vibe that Slugboy gets the right result for him from this placement. Not an easy way of working to adapt to and demanding for little reward at this stage.

I have to cycle to Beginners med tonight  - @rse  and the sunday retreat is 10 miles away - pah. shall go withthe flow

Westie I think you need a dog now if only to slow you down

16/05/2012 at 18:35

As long as the dog gets a bus pass too! (or a hsuky to pull the sled home?)

Snaily, I was thinking the same - doggy walking in Devon! My sister is near the Devon/Dorset border, they say they won't have another dog, but they do!

Murph did behave himself this morning but I think that was down to his choice rather than my management .. he has *that* look in his eye at the moment!!

16/05/2012 at 20:24

M...ldy beware the male with that look in the eye Spence didn't and look what's going on in her house. hope all the holes are now well filled.

16/05/2012 at 20:51

Long ride day for me Melds.  I fancy a cycle down to the Chilterns, I'm going to do that horrible hill at Kingston Blount - plus Brill on the way out and back.

16/05/2012 at 20:55

Awww, Meldy, boo to silly o'clock.

Daffs, the weekend sounds gret, I hope you will be well enought to make the most of it.

LOL at Westie, there is life in the old dog yet

I'm deliberately not commenting on Spence and her holes...

Chuggy, that meal sounds wonderful.

MS and I have done a bit of clearing out this evening and are now watching 'Lewis'. Have I mentioned that we have deicded to move house?
