Morning and goodnight Meldy, sleep well

I had the most brillaint sleep and feel almost human and if wasn't for the fact Mr Spence is working every weekend in May I'd enter Windy

Daffs, I'm too scared to look at my splits

I'm going for a post marathon blue chase away lunch & shop with a work mate today

Yesterday's treat was dog poo in the house

This morning's....?  A dead decapitated seagull in the back garden  I'm guessing fox as there are some locally and it was a clean bite off although I believe foxes usually take the lot?

I can hardly wait to see what Wednesday brings!!!!!

Right - best I get off to work

PS - Daffs, you need to get the "Daffs & Escorts" photo on here for those of us who don't do Fakebook or I'm a Twit - bet you've got the sunniest smile on

Morning each,

HL and I are going off to FIL's house today.  He's away on holiday so we're going to blitz his house. and garden.

Sadly, he thinks he's coping when he plainly isn't.

Podds, one less seagull can't be a bad thing.

love those splits Daffs

shocking nights sleep - return of the sore gums, so have come into work early instead of plodding, may go later

09/10/2012 at 09:25

At work today, but when I'm at home podds I'll figure out how to do it

Morning all, Nice one Daffs you do look as if you are having fun

was up at 4am woke up and could not get back to sleep then crashed out at 6am till now.

coffee is good.
Have a window to make today for the garage as i took the rotten old one out yesterday and did a temp repair only good thing is I managed to recover the panes of glass.

Morning all

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and (((((((())))))) for hurty teeth, poorly relatives, legs what don't work, painful splits, diarrheary dogs, headless birds, insomniacs and all who want or need them
I've had Dennis in - he's boxed some pipes. Now he's gone. He does an afternoon job so he will flit in and out randomly. It's all rather 'international man of mystery'
I've been trying to get my head around new Ofsted arrangements - it's doing my head in cos they keep changing things. Having changed all our paperwork to bring things into line once so far this year I find I have to redo it all again, then again in January for our pre 16 provision - aaarrrggghhhhhh
Need coffee
09/10/2012 at 12:14
Good luck DL
We are expecting "the call" any day as we are overdue a visit anyway and with our stats having been really badly hit by the GCSE English debacle in the summer we are dead central in their aim
Nice photos Daffs - appropriately cheery I feel  Looks like a gorgeous day for running too
09/10/2012 at 12:19
DL could you update my CRB policy too, I updated it in Sept, now new guidlines have been announced and I have to change it again, plus advise all the managers.  Its a right pain in the 4rse
Hurray for Dennis
Daffs you are quite frankly a STAR, well done you, and your bossy sis
I plodded this morning, it was wet and windy, but I enjoyed it.  Then I thought (whilst running across the prom) if a big wave came over and I was washed away NO ONE WOULD KNOW   eeeeeek
And I have some super-dooper-side-splitting-exciting News - SnailyMum is being discharged to our local Rehab hospital.     **bounces like tigger**  She is so over the moon about it, we're all over the moon about it.  We're hoping she can be fully discharged in 2 weeks.....thats if her house is sorted.  Surgically wise she is recovering well, so its on with the physio
09/10/2012 at 12:32
What fabulous news Snaily - no wonder you're all over the moon!! SO pleased for your mum, hope this is the end of the ridiculous ordeal she's been through xx
((((((((((offsteaded peeps)))))))))))
You know, I couldn't have done this marathon nonsense without you lovely lot  (mind you, I also WOULDN'T have done it without  you horrible lot ) You are all SO lovely and make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside (still not doing it again though)
Oh dear Nogs (both for your undercarriage and your FIL) Similar FIL situation going on here at the minute too sadly
09/10/2012 at 16:00
wooooooohoooooooo for Snaily Mum
09/10/2012 at 16:05
yeah, yeah Daffs  we all say that
Hurrah for Snailymum
((((((Far Far's gums )))))
I'm off to see if Mr Spence is working Ashby 20 weekend
09/10/2012 at 16:07
He is  every race I've looked at would mean mega child sorting
09/10/2012 at 16:56
Want to clock off but have a stack to do still - grrrrrrr
Woooooo hooooooo indeed for Snaily Mum. Hope the good news is just the tonic she needs to get her well on the road to a positive recovery.
I was at Ashby Spence - you should be grateful to Mr Spence, I seem to remember you mithering even more than me by the end of it!
Great British Bake Off tonight - that should cheer me up
09/10/2012 at 17:01
Good news Snaily at last for your mum
Yesterday was looking at mizuno ultima4 at Barringtons a good deal £63 with free delivery.Checked with their price £80.99 so did their price match challenge they boast about and gave Barrington's details to them. Have been waiting for them to do as they say and beat the price and give free delivery Not suprised nothing heard then checked on line this morning £80.99 and Barrington's now saying their ultima 4 shoes are £81 ????? something smells in the market place
09/10/2012 at 17:23
Can I just say something!?
"You f*%%ing broke it being so friggin heavy handed with it*!!
Thank you. That is all
*I want to say that to Mr Spence but obviously I can't because the air is quite blue enough!!
09/10/2012 at 18:05
(((Pippi's gums)))
(((Noggy))), in the interest of modesty, I will refrain from hugging your 'gentlemans area' . LOL @ Meldy's suggestion of 'the garage'.
(((Ofsteadees))) sterkte.
Meldy, that vet's bill is quite a hit to the old wallet . I know that the old chap is worth it, beut even so...
Great photo's Daffy, you do look suitably cheery throughout.
Spence, I am glad that you have got things in perspective a bit more.
It has been tanking down all day here. Alfie, who has been desperate to get Out There, politely declined to go out when given the chance .
I have done a sluggie and seen the fizz. No treatment this time, just general chat and advice.
WAIST well xxxx
