On the way home we called in on H's sister in law.
They have just had a house built and have just moved in.
Kept expecting Kevin to pop his head out.... Real Grand Design type place, gobsmacking in fact!!

Oh Daffs

You may think you can't find anything witty or funny to say but your write up had Mr P in fits of laughter - with your style, not at you I hasten to add!!!

Good for you - you've never been afraid to chuck your hat in life's ring and give it a go......I still remember your heroics at Stratford all those years ago when you'd only just learnt to swim but still made it Talking of which.........there's possible talk of Stratford being on again next year for a group of people......can I persuade you

Oh good grief Podds - today is probably not the day to ask me that question! Give me a week off!

(As for Mr P, you might also want to tell him about how I undid the bottom couple of hooks on my Enell sports bra at about 19 miles, and more came undone than I intended, and then I spent about half a mile trying to hold my boobs from falling out of the bottom as I ran along until the cycling guy left for long enough that I could stick my hands up my t shirt and do a few back up again! )

Morning

May I extend a Wooooooooooo and indeed a Hooooooooooooo with extra yip te dees to the Chester marathoners. Am mightily impressed with you all. As I was running my 10 k I was thinking just how foolish marathons are - it's an awfully long way and there seems little reason in this age of vehicular invention to need to run quite so far. Spence - stop beating yourself up - running with a dodgy knee - I would have given up. Say yay to Joan from me.  Daffers - your race report was inspirational. XB and JFF - sterling performances.

Having spent another weekend of decorating and still getting very little achieved we have decided to call in the cavalry aka Dennis. May actually get things finished by Christmas now! He called my ceiling 'rustic' - I spent hours scraping, filling, sanding, painting - I'm hoping people tend not to look up.

Happy shiny new week
