Oh Westie, what a great father you are! It will make the whole move so much nicer to find the new house warm and cozy. And nice for Scott to have somewhere a bit quieter; it's awful when there's a constant din, you can never relax.
Melds, I had a look at your route, mostly cos the names are so lovely. (I like living in a country with places like Nieuwegein and Waddinxveen, too, of course, but there's something so wonderful about a route that includes Cuddington and Waddeston and Pitchcott...) It looks like quite a piece of athleticism, too! (Going round twice does not of course surprise me: you are the fabled one who finished her half, felt fine, so nipped round the course again
)))
Sue, your step-mum sounds like a real inspiration. And it must be so nice for her that you stay in close touch. I remember how very hard the first year was for my dad after mum died. Every day is an anniversary when someone isn't there... Glad you had such a lovely journey home too. Just enjoying the moment is so restorative.
Busy day here, washing, drying, getting some things into the post, bit of shopping. It doesn't sound like much but it seems to require the organisation of an army!
Final note: the barefoot running thing really does work. It's quite a revelation to not hurt before, during or after. Brilliant.
Happy days all! xx
