for joggers, slow runners, run/walkers and newbies
It's not that one. NYE and NYD are "my" episodes.
Ohhhhh I see .....I got a lot of answers right too !
Oh yes ... I forgot that Claire needs a target
On my first episode one specialist subject is "potatoes".
How on earth can you come up with a series of questions about spuds?
Oh dear god ... I can only imagine Daffs !!!
LOL Daffs that did make me smile, if your in the executive suite make sure you use all the free goodies, bet they are lush.
What is the most common potato? fried, baked, roast!!!! hee hee
Missed superstars, have stupid 606 on (which is a footy talk show) apparently its been an eventful day..............in footy terms
I'm glad all the Olympians were awarded in the honours list, the others are a bit dodgy.
dont think I'll be making resolutions but I do want a plan to be more healthy. Tomorrow I'm off to find the gym i've been looking to join with the plan to get me back running and fit enough to join the local running club as they meet in the next street to where I live! I dont work late any more so I think I can commit to a club. its a long plan but hopefully do'able. I have 3 stone to lose so it isnt going to be a quick fix.
today we started painting our bedroom we moved out of 4 weeks ago! We're still not fully recovered but we really need to get the room sorted. We're bloody knackered now, have another 2 coats for the walls to go yet! I need a Westie to help!
This is Toby who needs a forever home, he's the one that started the "dog" debate again. Hasnt he just got "that" face
They all have 'that' face .... just wait til they get home and swap faces I think Westie might be coming down to 'visit' !!
M...eldy, I think that's the plan and after paying homage to Toby he gets to do DIY
AA meetings, Larry ? How hoobacious that you will be able to fix your car in an emergency There is indeed joy in the little things in life that we often overlook, a bewtiful sunrise, our beloved pets, the cake shoppe and XB on the telly
Was it me or did Superstars seems a bit lame ? I suppose that when it was a regular feature on tv people prepared for it but didn't look as though anyone had prepared
What a lovely looking dawg Snaily
Glad I haven't missed XB - been clued to the bleedin' programme trying to spot him and it turns out I could have saved my efforts!!!
I have this vision of Daffs and Mr Daffs in some huge hotel bedroom with Daffs in one of those beautiful corset type thingies and hair everywhere like one of those period dramas............... Mr Daffs for some reason is in a full length winter coat and top hat!
Does that sound a bit pervy? Wasn't meant to
Larry - very wise words indeed re finding joy in every day and in the simple things - I for one know I am very bad at doing this and tend very much to be a glass half empty (well 99% empty) type of person and it is something I really should try to address
At work I am known as negative in many ways as whenever anyone comes up with a plan I spot the flaws in the application of said plan - it's a useful if not particularly popular skill! I call myself the nitpicker and remind everyone that if you don't have a nitpicker you only end up with nits
Right time for jimjams and supper I think
Yes it does Podds .... very !!Time for bed for meI shall try and pop in over the next couple of days, I am heading South for the New Year and I shall be back NYD at some stageKeep an eye on the GPO pleaseHappy New Year to you all !
I always look for the downsides too, Podds. Only because that it's better to be forewarned. The sales force at my old job knew me as Dr No cos that was always my first answer.
I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face tonight. That image of Daffy will last forever.
I had sprouts tonight and I'm 10k-ing tomorrow. Turbocharged. The sprouts were delish - sliced thinly and boiled for 10 minutes in double cream.
Hmmmm, sprouts in cream
It appears to be dry, I appear to be ok, I may try a road ride this morning.
Good luck to the racers, right now I need coffee and plenty of it.
