Got my new specs. Left eye is still blurred but the right is a bit better. Bum. I'd hoped the specs would have been more effective. Will go back to opticians, I'm not sure if I'm legal to drive or not. 4 pairs of glasses ans a set of contact lenses in 12 months ??900 spent and my vision is still iffy. Need to go to Liverpool ASAP. And get a job to fund lenses!

Oh Tubs, it must be SO frustrating (not to mention expensive!). WHY can't they find the right prescription for your eyes? I know you have a complex condition, but surely they should be able to find out what magnification and all that you need???

Bit snoozy as lots of sms'ing with C1 during the night. She had a tube down into her stomach for 24 hours that was truly hideous---took 5 people including the registrat to get it into place, ugh!!---but happily it's out now and they are pleased with her progress. She's hoping to get home on Sunday, but it's one day at a time, I think. Friends in Melbourne, bless them, went to see her first thing this morning and sent us this photo:
