I've been out with the running group. Beginner's group so plenty of time to chat.

Thats rather good innit

It is. One lass did a hard 10k yesterday and was up for the 4 mile loop. She wasn't a runner 6 months ago. Others have gone from nowt to training for the GNR.

All very heartening.

We finished off tonight doing drills on the high street - high knees, butt kicks and bounding - great fun.

Little chance of that !!!

evening, didnt finish work until 7, so it seems like I got home had tea and now its time for bed!

ooooooer lucky Mr Spence !!!!!

the mountain bike clip made me feel sick, I've not got a head for hights

XB its good to know that a new runner can go from nowt to 10k in 6 months, gives me hope.

I've told MrS the 5 week plan, we have all the DIY scheduled in and it should be finished by mid March when I have friends down to visit.  I then get my spare time back and hopefully some running plans.

Tea, shower and bedtime

Even Paul mck can't relax me when mrS is snoring grrrrrrr
11/02/2013 at 22:29

I insist Mr P goes to bed after me so I have a chance to doze off Snaily - if he starts snoring and I'm awake that's me for the night!!

11/02/2013 at 22:46
I'm a very heavy sleeper and hardly ever wake up no matter what anyone does. Currently sneaked off to bed on my own mind you as poor old mr daffs is downstairs being sick

Xb, wish i lived up near you! Still not made it out with womens running group - beginners only meet once a fortnight and i've been in york every bloody time this year!

Once flute exam is over i'll turn my attention to running again, right now feels like one thing too many sadly! Mind you, i appear to be entered into a 10k in a fortnight, not entirely sure what happened or how on earth to manage!

Eeek! watched Westie's mountain bike clip! Let's not go - I'd be like a limpet with Terrets!

Poor Mr Daffs ... Lucky Mr Spence ....

Another day of clearing 15 years of accumulated notes and stuff.

coffee is on

12/02/2013 at 07:27

Hope Mr Daffs is feeling better this morning!

Tea for me too, and a couple of pancakes please!

Had a quick dig round last night and it seems there's a new run england group in my local park won't make it every week but between that, the women's group and zumba i should manage at least somthing the days i'm here! Slight bored of feeling overweight and underexercised now...
