Well done Meldy

I can only do this face!? Why can't I do any others!?

Batter in the fridge, join us Daffs

Right lovely waisters!

In a bid to bring some VAGUE organisation to the scheme of our planned adventure, I have created a doodle poll so we can get a vague idea of when would be a good weekend.

If you've not used these before, it's very easy!

Click on this link, enter your name, and tick which dates you are free, then press save. That's it!

I realise things will change... and not everyone will be able to make the same date... but this will give us a vague idea of numbers and if there's a definite weekend to avoid.

I've just put the Saturdays, but we don't have to meet on the Saturday, so if you're free that weekend, just tick yes and we can work out the finer details later. I just didn't want to be there all day adding dates!

I've put ALL of Sept/Oct/Nov weekends - past summer holidays and long enough away for time to plan!

If you don't want to come, don't fill in the poll

Hope nobody minds, figured this was easier than having weeks of 'I can do this but not that' on here Of course, venue is still up for grabs, but let's sort one thing at a time!

Oh, and the (yes) option means 'if need be' - only tick that if there's something you could potentially cancel if that was the only other weekend everyone else could do - if you can't cancel (or don't want to) - then tick no!

I've done mine Daffs ... I have so very few weekends free but it appears that late November onwards would be better
I have a wedding to go to early November and am trying to get a date together for Hen Night prior to that so I cant commit too much

Snaily, wrt train times and fares, break the journey up and look at advance fares, I can get from mine to Devon for £30 if I do it right

The Pope has a pacemaker - I didn't even know he was a runner!

I can probably go most places, most times except early Nov afaik (your Doodle things getting maintained, Daffs!)

bounce bounce

what a good idea Daffs! I've done mine, I've only put in what Meldy can do, but I'm pretty much free most weekends TBH

I'm up for the Amsterdam option (I'll have to get a passport sorted), I think it's a really good idea , let's hope Chuggy is around

12/02/2013 at 19:12

done!  as you will see I dont have a very busy social life!

The brum train fair is £60 return......booking it to stoke!  go figure!

12/02/2013 at 19:33

evening all,
Well it was the cars turn for it's MOT today I knew there was a couple of things that needed looking at  ( warned about it during service three months ago ) but my garage said just leave it and we will see at the time what comes up.Not as bad as they thought so £150 to get legal again is ok by me.

Have to have a look at Daffs spread sheet and see where I can fit in but reading between the lines it looks like October / November ! so will check it out.

I have a poorly puddycat.  he went a bit off last night, very quiet, slept all night in his ingloo, tonight he's the same, although we have tempted him out of the igloo, he's now asleep on MrS.  Hes not eaten (and probably not drank) since monday evening, he's looking very sorry for himself.

Hes not been sick or poo'd anywhere so dont think he's eaten anything dodgy.

We've had workmen in the house, do you think he could be stressed?

If you are certain that he has not drank since Monday then you need to get him to the vet as this can cause/be indicative of kidney probs .. being off food is one thing, being off water is entirely another

Try him with some tuna, that should work and if not i'd get him checked out

12/02/2013 at 20:28

yea what I thought Meldy, I remember last time he was ill he started having kidney probs.  he generally doesnt drink and only gets fluid through his wet food.

Vets tomorrow morning then
