for joggers, slow runners, run/walkers and newbies
i may have to lie about my age to stay at a youth hostel. one of the nice hotels will do me, ta.
a day of winter pruning Wisteria and Grape Vines for me.
Hurrah for Mr Tubbs joining us and pom pom waving and Fruit Pastelle handing out is very important Tubbs
not sure how convenient but there's also a Travel Lodge (is that where you stayed Pippi?)
ok, right, I might live to regret this, really am I about to say it..........I'll do the 10k
Need a lie down now to recover
morning all, If I am picking this up ok now it will be Stratford and not Brum ? Just so I don't get too mixed up in my old age and Noggy if you are too old for youth hostels I may have to look for a nice quiet retirement home for a few days. I will see if I can get the delightful Mrs westie to come down with me so will need to book somewhere near to the meet so the earlier the better for us old ones .
I am NOT committing to any running as it's a long time till November but will review the situation about October as I don't want to end up like this Inverness half paid for but unable to run.I tried for a deferment but no chance as they said read the small print.
OK I've checked out train times, and its doable, I'd be coming on the Friday and going back on Sunday. Can normally get a travel lodge for about £20 and I dont mind sharing!!!
Or can stay in Brum and train over to stratford, its only an hour
Right better do some bloomin work now!
Morning all Kettles on, time for Tea !
Swimming lunch time, more technique training ... still trying to perfect the art of breathing air, not water
There is an orange thing in the sky here too, I think its the Sun meldy speaks about
today has been totally unproductive so far. But there is cake!
About a week ago I put a plan forward for approval to do something in a certain way
It was approved and complimented
Now I have had to change it all around because a 3rd party pointed out something that hadn't occured to the higher ups (and which I couldn't have known.........)
I have therefore spent 4 hours redoing the original job.......
I am likely to have to recoup this time now in half term as it has put me behind somewhat.......which means either I lose holiday at the end of March or have to try and swing term time time off.........
Shame as it is........................warm and sunny here!
Bit like planning in the NHS!!!
Good point Meldy!
Perhaps we should start planning for our "big birthday" in Feb 2014 now
I am always aware that it is a Feb birthday but for some reason usually think it is a bit laterBlimey - where will we go next year eh? !!
Do you think it possible to be more exotic than Brum?
For the 10k we have....
'My Mate J' (She's almost a WAISTer cos she's met some!!)
Far Far (ok,ok she hasn't said yes yet but she will)
XB (As above)
Amandax (As above......she should answer her PM's else you get put on the list)
Westie ( although a possible racer)
Add your name !!
I'm thinking I'll stay in Stratford even though it's only half hour away cos I guess we'll be eating ( and drinking) Sat evening and it'll be nice not to have to drive
Has anyone any experience of using zazzle?
No rude answers boys!!!
