Absolutely Daffs ... that is exactly what we are going to do!!

I am not entering any more races until I have Lanza out of the way, I seem to be throwing a lot of wasted money at race entries of late and never getting round to running them

Meldy, I'm sure you did agree to the half marathon, right when you said you would slap Spence 4 times.

Daffs, there is a 3 hour cut off for the half, no shops so you'll do it easy .

Now about the "where do we stay" question. That Yoof Hostel looks ok, it has a bar and everything, but wherever we stay, I think it would be good if we were together so we can partay on the Sat evening . I stayed in the Holiday Inn at one time when I was there, booking in advance, you can get some good deals. Any other ideas?

I stayed at the Travel lodge and would not recommend it!There is now a Premier Inn nearby and they are usually better.

I would have stayed at the YH had it been closer to town for the start. Nogs, you would find yourself among the youngsters at many youth hostels!

Roni has just made the most wonderful Laksa prawn fish noodle hot sauce thingy's all I can say is wow! I want more, but have to make do with her mint chocolate/cream mouse .... All washed down with a really nice red wine all good fuel for tommorow ... well thats my excuse anyway!

I was about to say that was quite an elaborate tea for a scholl night and then I realised what day it was

Spoke to MrS for the green light, and yes I'm in for the 10k, I may come alone but will have to travel on the friday, spence is there a bed going spare at yours on the friday, then could go to stratford saturday morning for the race and stay over.

not sure if I'm coming by train or car, plenty of time to decide.

Podds (and Yums for that matter)  you could always head to mine and we can mosey on up together, save a bit of a carbon footprint if nothing else!
Assuming of course Mr Podds is dog sitting and not under the patio
