Yums, I watched BGT as did Snaily (we have FB conversations about it) there were some brilliant people on it. That shadow dance was incredible! As was the boy comedian, 11yr old singer & the girl Kate ( was that her name?)
And of course the lovely Ant & Dec

No running it's p*ssing down and windy .

Mrs and her sons and daughter head home today sounds like they had a good time so better whizz round with the hoover before she gets in

Hello guys, I have work to go to so I will hopefully be running later today now that my Quads on my right have eased off. Was in agony in work as I do alot of kneeling. Haha.

Does anyone ever run with the likes of Jelly Babies for some added energy? Just something I've heard?

Depends on how far you're going, Ryan. As long as you keep yourself reasonably hydrated you should have enough fuel and water for at least an hour. I don't take food for anything less than 2 hours.

Agree XB it was usually after 90 mins i used to snack and found jelly beans good as they did not melt. Now I just carry them on walks lol

Haha thanks both. I didn't think would be essential on my normal 3 - 4 miles. Though next month I am doing a 5 mile multi terrain race, something that I an not used too. Grass, mud (probably, its Wales) and a route through the woods. A bit of a difference from tarmac? I might need some extra power there for the first time??

HL and I have done a gentle 16 miles or so.  It's at less than recovery for me but she's getting some confidence with her road riding now.

It's a walk to a pub for a glass then back to watch the Amstel Gold race on Eurosport.

Back in a bit

Quick westie do the shake n vac before Mrs gets home

Well cycled HL n Noggs

Ryan, do you really need a reason to trough jelly babies?

Cycle wasn't quite what I imagined. Thought it was tougher than it should be despite a strong headwind. Seems the hydraulic disc brake was locking on so the rear wheel barely moved. Dumped bike at chums n got left home. Fab excuse to visit n see her new dawg she is collecting this arvo. A five year old Spanish rescue podenco

Ryan, dont need food yet, you'll be fine on your 5 miler without it.

Yums I watched BGT too, (yes me and spence FB one another over the good, bad and ugly!) The shadow puppet theatre was brilliant, made me cry.  Loved the 14yr old comedian too.

Its a shame the train doesnt have "train miles", DL would be able to holdiay for free!!!

I'm confessing to a wasted sunday.  got up feeling groggy, did bits of DIY that needed finishing and went for a sunny walk with OH.  I felt so tired and drained on the walk we sat on a bench in the sunshine.  Having nearly fallen asleep we headed home.  Still feeling really tired I went to bed after lunch for a snooze, 2hrs I was asleep for, I never do that.  Now have headache.  What is up with me

Was thinking of getting more fresh air and going for a walk, but its pee'ing it down again.

Incredibly the boys are asking for another walk so best I get going and I'll try to post a couple of hound photos later

Happy Sundays all

DD is having a couple of rest days  she isn't complaining!!!

Can you imagine the chaos if an absent-minded rabbit wandered across that field?
