Anyway, we all get an extra hour's sleep tonight!
Tomorrow's my favourite day of the week for running - long run day, out in the forest.

I was supposed to do a long run today of 10K + (that;s long for me!) but a hill got in the way and I ended up at 7k!
I may pop out tomorrow but I haven't done much work 2 days running

Where we live we can't avoid hills unless we run in town - there are 5 different routes into the forest within 200 metres of our front door - but each and every one goes uphill for at least 5km!

but the fact that you are in the forest whould more than make up for it!
Must be heaven!

Yep! I'm very lucky, in that just outside our house is the edge of the 2nd largest forest in Germany, over 1700 square miles, you can run all day in there and never cross your tracks. The trees stretch for 40 km to the west of us.

oh I wish ... I have a motorway 1 mile away!

Poor you! The forest is my 'church' (with apologies to Sassie, I don't attend a regular church), I do all my marathon training in there, and Sunday morning is the very best time of the week to be out there with the dogs, before all the afternoon walkers get their boots on.

No apology needed Ironwolf. What counts is how you live your life.

I hope, with joy and humility, with love and friendship, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Trying to be the best I can be.
