Phil the 'red'...

He is the definition of 'professional' in my book.  Not blessed with great skill, pace or ball control but a heart like a lion and a driving force as captain, leads by example and not afraid of looking for the ball even when he's out of form.  I prefer him at right back, but he's slotted into the old Carsley role very nicely and has been the rock which our defence is built around  - I wish he was still 25. 

He'll probably make a very good coach or manager...

I blocked him in once near Wilmslow for cutting me up.......

He's not blessed with much driving skill either. I wasn't driving a sports car.....

I know I am slightly biased but I have never understood the criticism both brothers have received from playing point of view?

But been model pro's & excellent servants to both club & country.
