Do you consider any subjects off limits for a general forum?

Another post just got me thinking, insides of the T&Cs which would cover how you express an opinion, are there any subjects you don't think should be discussed?

For example (off the top of my head) how would you feel about a thread that talked about pedophiles or intimate bodily functions (crikey the top of my head is a strange place)

I just wouldn't join the thread.

You do realise that a thread which discusses things which shouldn't be discussed is going to turn into a discussion of those very things!

Unless they shouldn't be discussed!

Pretty new here but can;t see the issue with eother of those topics. Maybe that is more of a reflection on the forums I normally frequent though...

I don't think it's appropriate to discuss whether or not we discuss something, it just doesn't feel right

There's clearly limits, and things that really shouldn't be discussed in public.
Morris dancing for instance.

Training ....thats sort of like cheating and should not be discussed.

Extreme Morris Dancing should be invented

I can't think of many subjects that haven't already been discussed on here anyway.

I really fancy morris dancing.

What would the extreme version involve?

Intimate bodily functions get discussed all the time in the Health section, doesn't seem to cause many issues.

I think anything can be discussed in a calm and adult manner, although some topics are more prone to flame wars (abortion, benefit recipients, weight issues, capital punishment, parenting, etc, etc).

Kind of a Parkour version I'm thinking.

You see what happens?  We're discussing Morris Dancing...

Extreme Morris Dancing should have sharp nails sticking out of those sticks.
