Do you recognise your faults correctly?

Or do you think you have faults/flaws where other people assure you you haven't?

I guess this is a thread about self regulation and/or awareness.

Or more basically how do you check your behaviour and thinking? Maybe through the lines of CBT thinking or when someone trusted tells you something?
