Canoeing today. Crashed under a tree, through rapids, ended up with a leaky boat and a three mile walk back to the car. Just as well it was such a lovely sunny day.

That reminds me of when a friend and I went upto the Lake District. We were right in the middle of Lake Windermere when the motor packed up on our boat. We only had one oar so kept going round in circles. We got towed in then had a five minute conversation as to whether or not we were going to take our shoes off as we were going to be knee high in water. This guy just stood there and shouted at us "Will you two just get out of the bloody boat"
