I got bit by a dog this morning whilst out running. It took a chunk out of my leg, have had to inform the police etc

I never realised 69 came before 70. It's one of those numbers that you don't think of as a number.

ouch about the dog bite.

Wowsers, hope the bite was not too deep LWJ.

I meet quite a few dogs off lead when out running early morning, never a problem so far.

Gaz, i run through the woods all the time.  If ever i think a dog is a threat or it fears me i stop, walk and don't make eye contact with it.  This dog was with two elderly people on a pavement not even in the woods, i ran passed no problem at all, it didn't bark or growl at me, but within seconds it chased after me and i didn't know what had happened until i saw the blood.  The bite is quite deep, it didn't need stitches but has had to be dressed.  It's the shear shock more than anything, i just didn't see it coming.  It's owners were in shock a bit too.  It's very sore now.
