Canute - Farnborough is in Hampshire (Posh county) .  For the past couple of years we've had snow settle for days/weeks and it's impossible to walk on so i was going to get some of those trax so i could still go out for little jogs.  Ice marathon..... Me??   NO!

Put my back out last night, been in agony all day.  Cardiff is going to be PAINFUL.

I've got no chance now of being the first lady in....

Guess i'll just have to accept i'll always be on the back page of the results sheet

Sorry to hear that LWJ, hope it goes well for you though Good Luck

Thanks RIPP, just leaving shortly as i have a long journey.  I found some pain killing gel in the medical cupboard last night so i've smothered some of that on.  The good news is the pain has subsided a bit, the bad news is i smell!

Have good weekends everyone.

I forgot to mention...... my dogbite has healed up.  Only problem is i think it's going to leave a scar the shape of it's mouth on my thigh

Good luck LWJ, I'm sure you'll soldier on despite the war wounds

Weather looks good for tomorrow, but Wales is another country and it's own climate area

Morning all.  Yes, the weather was glorious in Cardiff. FABulous race, i loved it, very scenic and virtually the whole route was lined with supporters.  Paramedics were busy though .........  Not with me i hasten to add.

Morning Stu, Glad you had a good time LWJ, stunning day in the end after the cold start.

15/10/2012 at 09:57

Yes, it was a bit of a cold start.  I tend to keep old charity shop tops for races then dump them at the start, but yesterday my body was ok but my hands took ages to warm up.

I wore my £1 Magic gloves on my run yesterday, frost at the start. 12 miles done

15/10/2012 at 15:33

Magic gloves?  Don't tell me, you rubbed your hands together and some Doves flew out of them

15/10/2012 at 16:44

Noooo, they cost £1, come in fluoro colours and 1 size fits all. Get them at a Pound shop

15/10/2012 at 16:45

They're knitted, but not too tight and keep hands comfy, not too warm.
