It's been very bright here today.  Problem is this time of year the sun is so low which makes driving difficult at times

No, voting for a PCC is a total waste of time, effort and money imo.

It will all change again soon anyway when they find out the plan didn't work.

Me neither, total waste of time and money agree RIPP. As I live just outside the Bristol CC boundary I can't even vote for the Lord Mayor.

Whatever one my think of the merits of the system, these people will have significant powers that will affect the way your area is policed.  I am against the idea, but I will be voting as some of the candidates if elected, could do a lot of damage!

BCC has over 500 people to do the PCC count, 500 people for a pretty poor turnout

I think the average for the local area was around 15% turnout.

The turnout at general elections is falling, local elections is down to 30%.  It is such a shame that young people don't respect how much went into establishing universal sufferage.  people gave thier lives for the right to vote.  Travel anywhere else in the world, they are shocked by how we take our democracy for granted.  In some countries, it is compulsory to vote.  Friends in Malta were hearing reports of low turnouts in Police and Crime Commissioner elections, before anything was being reported here.

Somewhere in Wales the turnout was 0, no one voted for their PCC
