Any older gamers here might remember Elite and Frontier, the two open world space sims. Elite 4 has been coming/not coming/in development/not in development for years now, but finally there is light at the end of the tunnel.
The catch is they're using 'Kickstarter' to fund it - so if that can raise £1.25m then the game will be made. Right now, it's at around £718,000. Pledging £20 or more basically buys you a digital copy of the game to be downloaded upon release.
So if you remember Elite/Frontier from childhood and would love to see Elite 4 (known as 'Elite Dangerous' ) see the light of day, pledge away!
