Ok, I have an exit interview today starting at 10am..........

What should I say in it?

So long, and thanks for all the fish?

say what you want or say nothing at all.......

the choice is yours

there is no obligation on you

Eff off, I hate you all. Goodbye!

If you want to stay on good terms with the folk at the company then you keep stum and say how much you've enjoyed your time there.
On the other hand, if you have hated it and there are serious issues, then let rip.

Don't say what I said, "have a nice life, have a nice death, good bye"
you dont get your bonus :o(

Do you know you smell?
Nice t*ts!

just remember about burning bridges and all that.

I have only ever had one of these and was faced with three managers rather than the expected two, so my interview went along the lines (to the third unexpected guest) of who are you, why are you here, what has it got to do with you anyway - and then so you are here just because you happened to be in the office today and thought you would sit in on it!

Two of them looked bemused and my boss who knew me well looked amused!

I agree with soph - you'll get no thanks for telling management about problems that they shoud know about anyway, and you never know when it could come back to haunt you so unless you are leaving the country, or having a complete career change, keep it bland.

Tell the truth, don't hold back. If you are leaving because they are carp, tell em, or how will they mnow there's a problem.

sods law says if you "tell it like it is" in an exit interview that it will inevitably come back and bite you on the ass at some point.

Hopefully I won't have one of these. Although if I do I'll be telling HR how fantastic the company is (lies.....).

I need to keep them onside so they sort out my share issue! As there's a problem with me dumping them before I leave!

Tell them they can stuff their job, take the money and run.

I was just honest about why I was leaving, and the fact I was leaving for more money, and working less hours!

I've been given a questionaire full of crap!
Do you HAVE to complete it??

I mean most questions will be negative and are the reasons behind my leaving!?!
24/08/2006 at 16:13
No, Pix, you don't have to fill it in.

Fill in your name, answer the questions you feel you want to (if you think it might be constructive for instance), seal it in an envelope and hand it in as you leave.

It'll make no difference what you say.. it is simply the people from personell trying to justify their existance.. you are out of there.. makes no difference and no one is going to listen....

Waste of time..
