A reminder to all that subscriptions are due by 1st April.  If you do not renew by that date you cannot run in a club vest until Donna has received your subs.  Please don't leave it - it could put the club in a very awkward position

JFDI/Mark

Can I make a suggestion. A lot of folk nowadays are doing much of their banking online. As I am Treasurer I obviously know the TRAC bank account details, so I emailed my form to Donna and made a BACS payment straight into the account, using the reference "Bill Wright Subs"

I didn't need to worry about a cheque getting lost in the post or finding a stamp and the fact that my name is on the reference makes it easy for the Treasurer, who of course happens to be me, to post it correctly.

Stamps are going up rather a lot soon so that could be a good idea Bill.

Well reminded. The cheque is in the post

I was just about to put  a reminder on the website - like the idea CB!

Did you see just how much the stamps are going up by? FOURTEEN pence both rates. That is an increase of nearly 40% on a 2nd and over 30% on a 1st. Fewer people are buying stamps, so let's slam the prices up. DOH Only a public body would consider that as good economics. Of course it is all designed to try to make the post Office more attractive for a sale.

Bit of a hike isn't it!

Cinders - I'll be sending ours in along with Adrian Spellers - he doesn't have a cheque book but I'm writing one for him.

Thanks

Has mine turned up Donna?

Cliff. Can you do that? I thought the photo ID requirement was so that you had to turn up in person. I have not finalised arrangements yet with him, but Ian Lockyer and I will probably be travelling up together on the thursday so i imagine we could do it for you, if Ian is local enough to you. I am hoping to be at the club meeting on the 11th.

Thanks Bill, I had a look at the rules and it would seem that it is possible if I give you a letter, the signed form and a photocopy of my passport. I am away on the 11th so I will be in contact with you or Ian closer to the time

Thanks again

I registered online for the Darent Valley 10k as it is a GP event. I have just discovered that it starts at 08.30 and you have to collect your number and chip on the day! I will need to leave home about 06.30!!!
