Radio 4's "The Food Programme"
The Food Programme on Sunday about the medical advantages of fasting a couple of days each week was interesting to listen to (duration of broacast: 24 minutes).
Unfortunately the medical content was combined with a heavy dose of religious content.
The medical content suggests there are definite advantages for the body in fasting a few days each week.
