It is a plant that orginally came from America. It is a bit like camomile but less like grass clipings. In French it is called
verveine

Hurl at sight of: Anything that's green and smells of wet vegetation, especially in the morning.

Had some tea made from coca leaves when I was in S. America, very nice it was too. But for some strange reason I can't seem to find it in Tesco's ;-)

Fave hot drink: hot water with a few thin slices of fresh ginger and a touch of honey. Just great at any time of day..... think I might just have one now!!

Happy Shambler!

Current fav: Chai with milk and sugar - odd as I'm usually black no sugar

Weirdest: In Sumatra I had "jungle tea" which was, er, bits of stuff scraped up off the floor of the jungle mixed with hot water. Like a compost heap in a mug.

Good luck to all you lot racing this w/end. Hope the leg is OK Tim and that MartinH's cold is better. (not relevant to this thread, but I'm off now...)

I'm an Ovaltinee, me.

When I was a student, I remember going round to a mate's house, and the three of them were sat on the sofa, shaking uncontrollably. It turned out that they'd been shopping and bought ten different types of tea. And then drank them all in the space of an hour or so. Caffeine overdose, anyone?

If I'm doing them (which is rare) I go for the stronger tasting fruit ones, with a spoonful of honey. Then again I'm too much of a caffeine junkie. Six cups during the day too much?? That's me before breakfast!

Agree with V-rap about the green stuff that tastes like wet vegetation - ugh!

Might try infusing a 2070 insole after it's got about 400 miles in it, and see how they compare!!
