What sort of pub do you like? Noisy? Quiet? Cheap? Food?

I never found anything I liked much in the centre of Richmond.

We would sometimes go to the O'Neill's next to the station if you like a bit of ersatz Oirish

Good atmosphere and nice beer, food will prove helpful too!

Cricketers is nice on the Green, never eaten there though. If you want a bit quieter and posher food, The White Swan on Old Chapel Street is lovely (good cyder and beer too). There's a Youngs pub (the name of which escapes me) at the top of the high street heading towards Richmond Park - it's nice, open fire, food but really rather expensive (nearly a fiver a pint!). Another nice Youngs pub with food is by the river, called the White Cross but stay downstairs, upstairs it's had the "Youngs Refurb" and looks more like a tea room Have fun.

(I actually think the Twickers pubs are nicer, Eel Pie, The Fox...the Bear if you feel like loud music & Aspalls cyder and The Cabbage Patch inc. club for dancing!). Sad? Moi? Nah...
