Hug an Aussie

Seems like only 4 years ago after Beijing I was suggesting that everyone should go out an hug an Aussie to make them feel valued in the sporting world. But hats off to Victoria Pendelton on letting an Aussie finish ahead. After all its not fair that Team GB have been hogging all the gold medals.

If you know an Aussie go and offer them a hug tell them they are loved and if they want they can claim some of the credit for Team GB success after all they are part of the commonwealth. Its so bad they are trying to claim Kiwi success as their own

Seriously Skippy, Harold Bishop, Mick Dundee your team are taking one hell of a beating

Lol. Having spent the afternoon with a couple of Aussies with massive chips on their shoulders!

Oh well at least Sally Pearson stormed the Hurdles - brilliant run

Ha ha ha! It's not often we get to crow over the Aussies when it comes to sport... let us have this success, normal service will resume soon enough

Yup. Stiffing the Aussies is fun. But stiffing the French is business.

Countries and the importance of Stuffing them:

Top 10 :

Aussies tied in first with the French

Repeat for the other nine positions

Glad that they won a couple of golds todays otherwise they may want all their ex pats backs and there would be no one to serve all the pints that are getting drunk to celebrate British Gold

Yorkshire Puddings are beating a country fuelled on Vegamite and Sangears!

It was good of Team GB to take a day off yesterday from winning medals to try and make things easy on the bartenders of London sorry I mean Team OZ.

But today lets resume our winning ways

Looks like the Aussie sports minister has lost the bet ... and to her credit she's taking it in good spirit.

At the end of the day it's just a bit of fun

Exactly

I loved the joke about us changing our colours to green and silver though.

For those that haven't seen this -

Ps. Slowfoot - it's not as if Australia has ever dominated at water polo.
