The road is about 3 miles away at any given point judging by the course ....its like right through the middle of the plains, so even catching a bus if I break down wont be easy!

But who cares .......... life isnt much fun if you do things the easy way.

Toby, not me...someone was probably having a cheeky laugh.

I'd never suggest starting too near the front, as i'd imagine you need to keep your thoughts positive for such a long race, and having swathes overtaking you wouldn't be the way to do that!
