It will be OK as there will be a new one the day after this years race....
David..mock all you want......you haven't done one.....
and you well underachieved in your half marathon.........time is immaterial.......for your age, size and level of fitness........you bombed out in the half
OK, here's a suggestion - if you want to laugh at, belittle or otherwise mock other runners perhaps you should at least have the balls to do it on the threads they post on??
That's not what I'd call it. Tact is keeping your opinions to yourself - makes you a much bigger person.
OK I'll give you that but why say anything at all? Does mocking other people make you feel better about yourself?
It's not remotely admirable in grown men. Trust me.
Oh come on! I spent half of yesterday's run deciding whether to wear white or red socks for the London Marathon. These things are important.
David.....as i have said my hardest marathon was having to walk/ crawl most of the last 26 miles of a race in about 11 hours.............it was much harder than the time I ran under 4 hours which was a miracle PB for me..........
can't you just respect all the runners out there for doing it and having a go whatever their times.......without any knowledge of their background, size , self confidence or history.then it can be more amazing for one person to do a 7 hour marathon than for someone else to do a 3 hour marathon as a training run.........
setting up a thread to bring the attention of the forums to someone or a group of peoples attempts is not nice.,..........they post on a thread where they feel safe and where they can get support.........you ridiculing from afar and trying to find like minded to ridicule is not nice.......
if they had started a thread look at me aren't I amazing then fair ahead go in and rip them apart of you want.....but they haven't they have quietly posted with like minded people.
naming and abusing people on here like that is beneath your usual humour
^^Oh, and what Seren said as well.

I must admit I always colour match my race kit. Need to look good for the photos. Oh, and not to forget the full make up
When you are on the finish line, waiting for DF3 to finally arrive, can you make sure he doesn't have his number covered up this time with his cardigan. We would like some decent photo's this time
and make sure they have a flash on the camera: it gets dark around 7
