Best laugh I had, was a few years ago, my Dad and his partner totally forgot and complained to me on the Monday evening that all the tv programs were running an hour late. I have not let him forget it ever since.

Does this mean I don't have to change my car clock that never got put back last year?  See, I knew it would be a waste of time.

Well that must take some doing.  The clocks went forward but I accidentally got up an hour too early.  My bloody phone has out-clevered me by automatically adjusting itself... after I already put it forward an hour before I went to bed.

I followed my own advice and did all my clocks ... bar one, the readout on the microwave. Because I can't find the instructions and it isn't intuitive.

Why does every clock and timepiece in the house have a different procedure for adjusting it?

I can never remember how to set the oven, always end up hunting for the instructions.

At least forward is the easy one to do for mechanical clocks. To go backawards, do you wind the chiming clock forward 11 hours, and deal with 11 hours and quarters being chimed, or do you stop it for an hour and promptly forget that you've stopped it?
