You can't get away with announcing that and not giving details Dude.

argument over the bill. i called the head waiter a wee skidmark and the owner a robbin' bastard.

if it had gone to trial i could have used the scottish legal defence of 'fair comment'.

I agree....but as an aside...I'd hate to be barred from Wagamama!

What is wagamama?

Btw ... I'm banned from B&Q. I was in there once and the manager asked me if I wanted decking. I thought I'd better get mine in first.

(Thank you, I'm here all week)

I was once barred from a pub for being underage, after they'd served me.  I was 21.  Someone in the beer garden must've complained I looked too young.  They took my pint off me.

Wagamama - wishy, washy noodles.  I'd much rather support a local independent noodle bar ... and do!  I only went to W once because a friend was treating me to lunch and it was her choice.

I've never been barred from anywhere. I'm sorry, i feel like i've let you all down

Japanese food in the loosest sense of the word.

yes

I'd never heard of wagamama. You learn something new every day. From the description I'm not likely to darken their doorstep anytime soon. Especially if they don't serve pasties.
12/04/2012 at 18:19

Wagamama's probably would, albeit a 'Japanese' version,.

12/04/2012 at 18:22

I like WM and to be fair, it doesn't claim to be authentic Japanese cuisine.  And I've usually had decent service too.  But a wee skidmark is a quality insult

I don't think I've ever been barred.  I've a friend who's ambition is to be thrown out of an Aberdeen Steak House.  I'm not sure if she's been brave enough to actually go into one and eat any of their food though.

don't recommend a wagamama as a post-race meal...i'll say no more...
