Yes, I WAS cleaning out my kitchen cupboards when I wondered just this.

Yes, spam!

That was my first thought, but it must putrify at some point? Probably after it's streamed you the Buffalos game in 3 different languages.

Nope, spam would survive a nuclear winter.

I need proof.

Krispy Kreme donuts

They were designed not to go off. 100% unnatural ingredients.

Krispy Kreme donuts are yummy...........

I seem to recall some Finnish tinned fish stuff on Qi that was meant to be off, so presumably can't get any worse.

Do they come out the south end in the same form they went in the north?

That brings a whole new meaning to the term "ring doughnuts"

As long as they are kept dry, I don't think spices ever go off - they just lose their flavour.

I saw a picture recently of a macdonalds burger purchased over a decade ago.
It looked exactly the same as the day it was purchased.
Probably tasted better too.

The question I ask is.....How long can you freeze a chicken for?

Where on earth has it been kept all that time?

My GF made some Yorkshire puddings about 3 yrs ago. Not sure what happened but one came out looking more like a digestive biscuit so I taped it to the fridge for a bit of a joke and it's still there looking exactly the same.

I'll add that the Yorkshire making has come on a lot since then.

Back to the Chicken: I need to know, as I put one in the freezer last night and it was dead this morning

If you'd put a bottle of Vodka in there with it, it might not have been.

I prefer them dead. Getting your knife and fork in to the live ones is great sprint training, but a lot of hassle.

I think sugar doesn't go off.  It doesn't have a dead date on it, I believe.
