D has never been to mainland Scotland, we flew to a wedding on Oban about 8 years ago and that's the first time he'd been to Scotland, aged about 37...

I went to the Glenfiddich distillery many years ago. I hate whisky, I actually don't like spirits at all unless it's vodka in a really hot Bloody Mary.

Sue surprised me with a trip to Islay for an anniversary present

We stayed in a cottage INSIDE the Bowmore distillery

5 days, 8 distilleries and 1 brewery. Amazing trip and no hangover

I've never been to Scotland.

I think my Aunt Margaret may well never have been abroad. Probably not even to Wales or Scotland.

I wish.... At 90 quid a bottle it's a very small night cap.... But it is 50% percent proof so it needs a drop of water

Mt first MiL had never been to London let alone abroad, and Coventry is only 70 miles from the capital

No airport on Arran I don't think, so must have been a different island KK - maybe Islay?

When I lived in Wales my neighbours who were in their mid twenties, had never left Wales. We were good friends and I was constantly travelling all the time with work (like 3 foreign countries per week).

They don't make whiskey in Arran. Nearest whiskey distilery is the other side of the Irish Sea. They do however make whisky in Arran........

My mother in law has never been abroad, though she went to the Isle of Wight once apparantly.

I'm abroad now.

When u got together with my OH he'd only been to Italy once on a school trip. He has now been to a couple more European cities.
